Lighting techniques

These are some videos i watched to learn about lighting effects and how they can best be used. In these videos one side of the performers face is usually darker than the other this makes the video look more dynamic and interesting. We will do something similar in out music video to the star to make him look more interesting and get the audiences attention. The lights in the background are good contrast and help make the video look better and add depth to the lighting. We will use some smaller lights in the background of our shots to make them have more depth and to bring attention away from the background and towards the star of the music video. We liked the streak filters effect and felt it would add to the idea of the party going on in the house and wile try to involve some streaks into our final piece using the tecnique shown on the free streak filters video.
