The star persona is vital to the marketing and selling of the album. The way he is represented will have to be consistent in order to get the image across to consumers. To do this we will have to make the Digi-pack, the magazine advert and the video bring out the qualities we want from the star. This will be done by making sure the clothing and style of the star remains similar in that it will be vintage and materialistic. The angle and the way the camera interacts with the star will be similar this will be done by close ups of the star as well as the rest of the band in the background to make sure that he is shown to be the front man of the group but not a solo artist or performer. The picture on the right is our star persona and this image is similar to the feel we will want for some images in the Digi-pack and advert but with other people standing near to ensure the idea of a band and not a solo artist is given. The clothes and the cigarette give the feel that he is part of the alternative culture. This culture has the sort of consumers that would purchase our album so it is important to make sure they can affiliate with our star.
