Today is the deadline for our digipack and magazine ad, so we will be focusing all our efforts on polishing everything off.
For the magazine ad, we are organising where all the text will go, as well as colours and fonts that will optimise visibility. This is difficult as for certain things, the text can't be too big, and colours that stand out in comparison to the leaves are few. Placement of text is a challenge too, we have to put a lot of consideration into what makes the most informative and resonant advertisement. One more problem we had was to name several magazines and pretend to quote their reviews of our album - We settled with Q and Mojo magazine.
The digipack is also tricky today, as we're trying to perform some sneaky editing to make it look as though there is a whiskey bottle laying in the leaves. The Jack Daniels label will be left on, and we will discuss this later in our evaluation.
Adding to our social network presence, we've made a twitter account. On our magazine ad, we will be directing people to our pages on facebook and twitter.
Ahren has done some colour correction on the images for the digipack, as well as added the record label's logo.
