Shooting day 1

We started shooting at James house this was the narrative of our video. The video followed Edgar our star as he walked around the house the day after a party with lots of empty beer cans and bottles of alcohol around to give the feel of a big busy night. This was broken up with flashbacks of events at the party that will be triggered as he wanders around e.g. sees a broken glass and he remembers why it was broken. We briefly had some extras to help make the party look more busy however they had to leave so most of the footage is of a few people. This means we will have to be careful when editing or the party will look ironic and not a exiting large party that we intended. Also we will have to film some performance to go with parts of the song that a narrative would not be appropriate for. We used several studio lights and smaller desk lights to light the shot. We also cut holes into a piece of paper to give a venetian blind effect when the star wakes up however this may need colour correcting to make it stand our more.
